Us TOO International and Raise a Voice Support Options for Advanced Prostate Cancer Patients:
Join us for a walk & assembly in Washington DC, June 4th
Us TOO International is continuing our support of efforts to increase options for men with advanced prostate cancer. Currently at issue is the recent FDA ruling which may delay access to a promising new prostate cancer vaccine, Provenge.
Along with our other grassroots partners from Raise A Voice for Advanced Prostate Cancer
Advocacy, we encourage members of our chapter support group network, patients, survivors, their families and friends to join together in a walk and assembly in Washington DC on Monday, June 4, 2007. Our goal is to gain news coverage as the largest D.C. prostate cancer rally ever held (we need 350 people or more to accomplish this goal).
The rally is being organized by Jan Manarite of PCRI
and Raise A Voice. Jan helped to organize and coordinate the success at the March 29th FDA Provenge review meeting. The plan is to make this another memorable, meaningful event for men with prostate cancer.
